Neil and Alison were keen to create a well lit, relaxing garden room style space to enjoy views to the garden and take advantage of the sun path.  they also wanted to link in the dining room to ensure they had more space to extend into when entertaining and especially for family occasions when their children and grandchildren visit.  The use of an open joint horizontal timber cladding contrasts well with the existing house render and defines the new extension.
