Mill St
Bill and Claire had just completed the renovations of an old split level cottage when a health issue meant that a home with full accessibility became necessary. Mill St was a cottage which had fallen into disrepair and we set about converting it into a 3 bedroom fully accessible home specific to allow for future wheelchair access if required and independent living. The garden too was relandscaped to allow ease of access between house and new garden room formed at the bottom of the garden. The sawtooth roofed extension allows it to tie into the existing cottage and also defines the space internally. Generous glazed areas allow a good spill of light into the interior and visual links to the garden. |
