Almond Place

Sitting in a peaceful cul-de-sac with great access to the River Almond, walking and cycle paths, this detached house has provided a great family home for my clients.  With family now grown up Maggie and Alan were keen to form a new kitchen / dining / family area for them to enjoy with a large utility room and store to ensure space for equipment storage and laundry facilities to support their active lifestyle. This simple timber clad single storey flat roof extension with overhanging eaves realised their vision and provided the open plan living with wood burning stove they desired.  A bifold door allows the room to be opened to a deck in the garden linking garden to house.
